I am a Co-Founder and current Secretary of the University of South Florida Nuclear Technologies Club. Founded in Fall 2024, the club quickly gained traction and secured funding as interest grew among students and faculty. Our mission is to foster curiosity, collaboration, and education surrounding nuclear technologies, including their applications in energy, research, and engineering advancements.
As Secretary, I play a key role in organizing meetings, facilitating communication between officers and members, and ensuring the club's goals are clearly outlined and achieved. I also assist with event coordination, such as guest speaker sessions, workshops, and hands-on projects designed to engage students in nuclear technology and its future applications.
By creating an inclusive environment for learning and discussion, our club has begun connecting aspiring engineers and scientists with opportunities to explore the cutting edge of nuclear innovation. I look forward to helping the club continue to grow, provide valuable experiences for members, and encourage greater student involvement in this rapidly evolving field.
